Safety & Equipment Standards
Roadside work is only worth doing if it is done safely. Here is how we approach every call.
On the scene
Roadside safety
- If a vehicle is in a live lane, we ask drivers to get to safety and call 911 first
- Technicians assess the scene before setting up
- Warning lights and cones are used where appropriate
- Units are positioned away from traffic whenever possible
Equipment
Charging equipment
- DC charging uses standard connectors and vehicle communication protocols
- Your car’s battery management system controls the charge rate
- Connector compatibility is confirmed before dispatch
- Cables and connectors are inspected before each session
- Units are IP54 rated for operation from −30 °C to 50 °C
Towing
EV-safe transport
- Flatbed transport with drive wheels off the ground
- Manufacturer tow or transport mode procedures followed
- Correct lift and tie-down points used to protect the battery pack
